Veronica "Ronni" Champagne

Ms. Champagne is best known for her skills as an experienced project manager and environmental scientist on a wide variety of site assessments/investigations and contaminated site remediation projects throughout New England, with a focus on Massachusetts. She has a thorough understanding of all phases of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), ranging from IRAs and RAMs, to Phase I through Phase IV reports and implementation of AULs, as well as American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) environmental site investigation and remediation reports. Her understanding of the complexities of the environmental compliance needs of her clients spans her 18-year career. Ms. Champagne was born and raised in Haverhill, MA.
 

City of Revere, Mayor’s Office, Revere, MA. Project Manager for an Immediate Response Action (IRA) project at a public middle school in Revere in which petroleum odors within the school led to the discovery of a fuel oil release from the school’s heating oil underground storage tank. Design, installation, and monitoring of a ventilation system at the school, as well as the operation of a groundwater treatment system, continues to be key in preventing an imminent hazard within the building and keeping the school open. Project also involves interaction with the MassDEP project manager, MassDEP reporting, and USEPA NPDES discharge permitting and reporting for the groundwater treatment system.
