Sultan is a Senior Engineer in ECS’ Tampa, Florida office and has more than 14 years of experience. His key responsibilities include performing soil, groundwater, and air sampling; conducting pilot test studies; preparing Remedial Action Plans; and participating in business development activities. Sultan has prepared several SPCC Plans, SWPP Plans, and Environmental Resource Manuals, and has also obtained permits for stormwater, drinking water and wastewater type facilities. He has performed Environmental Compliance Audits and stormwater inspections for various facilities throughout the United States. Sultan is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, and also recently earned the titles of Associate with the American Society of Civil Engineers and Diplomate with the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers. He holds a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Sultan has been with ECS since 2005.
 

> Managed and coordinated full scale EPA mock spill event and facility inspection and provided Facility Response Plan compliance for a 2 million gallon bulk fuel storage facility. > Inspected multiple bulk fuel storage terminals and updated SPCC, FRP, Emergency Response Action Plans, and conducted hazardous waste storage compliance inspections. > Managed Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) regulated PCB contaminated soil remediation project and provided construction oversight for the removal of impacted soil following 40 CFR 761. > Responsible for coordinating, supervising and performing field service contracts for various clients. Responsible for quality assurance and quality control of all field sampling activities, health & safety of all field personnel, coordination of all regulatory compliance, construction management and subcontractor oversight. > Coordinated and conducted various environmental investigations throughout Alaska, Massachusetts, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington. Field projects include: RI/FS, drilling activities, site assessments, hazardous waste removal, underground fuel storage tank removals, and various remediation system installations. > Provided oversight for a 15 car train derailment emergency response involving more than 300,000 gallons of gasoline.
